Hello, welcome to my site and thanks for being interested in why this website is here!
This website is a side project site I'm working on for my D&D group. Instead of a traditional fantasy campaign we play in the SCP universe in 1992.
I created this site as a way for everyone in my party to be able to keep track of all the different storylines going on and all of the different SCPs we've encountered in this campaign. Also, a lot of SCPs have been modified in order to fit as enemies/items/classes in our campaign, so I wanted a place to keep all of the information that's canon to our universe, but isn't in actual SCP cannon or contradicts actual SCP cannon.
Since it may be a while until I can get the 'current timeline' section of the website up, which is where I intend to put descriptions of what happened in each of our sessions, I'll give a brief plot description of the two campaigns that both take place in the same universe.
Our first campaign took place entirely in Site 19, located in Yellowstone national park. Our player characters were Allistar, a D-Class Mechanite, Lacey, a former Wilson’s Wildlife volunteer working Security, Vauquelin, a Daevite healer and researcher, Hector, a Fifthist researcher, and Scissors, a D-Class and former clown at the Circus of the Disquieting. During a seemingly normal day of work at Site 19, the facility suddenly went into lockdown due to an apocalypse we found out was the Red Sun. The Red Sun was an anomaly summoned by the Sarkic Cults, and it caused any living creature that came into contact with sunlight to transform into a flesh monster under the control of the Sarkites. Our party was able to temporarily stop the Red Sun by activating SCP-2000, which reset time to a point just before the Red Sun rose. The problem was solved, for now.
Our second, and currently ongoing, campaign started in Site 52 in Iceland. Our current characters are Zoltarrrr, a Wondertainment fortune telling machine, Lennox, a college student who got experimented on by the Chaos Insurgency, Esby, a musician and Mana Charitable Foundation worker, Casper, the son of the Grim Reaper, and Lottie, a victorian aristocrat whose soul was placed into a doll. All of our characters are SCPs who were being held in a facility for sentient, humanoid anomalies. For reasons we haven't quite figured out yet, the activation of SCP-2000 gave visions of the now imminent Red Sun to all of the SCPs in Site 52. After escaping our first facility, our current party is now exploring other facilities to try to figure out how to stop the Red Sun from rising.
If you're curious about the admin of the website, I'm one of the party members and my characters are Vauquelin and Lottie. Ironically, this website wasn’t created by the person who plays the mechanite. Both of my characters are my favorite OCs I’ve ever created, and I’ll defend my characters despite the hundreds of crimes they’ve committed. I actually didn't really know a lot about SCP before being asked to join these campaigns, I really only knew about the popular ones like 049 and 096, but now I'm obsessed.
As for the SCP Weekly Report, that’s done by a different party member than the site admin; he’s the creator of Scissors and Zoltarrrr. I will do my best to peer pressure him into making more entries for our recent sessions.
